The book that I read this term in English area is “The Story of Doctor Dolittle” by Hugh Lofting.
The main characters are Doctor Dolittle and the animals.
The places where the story takes place are Puddleby, the sea, Africa, the Canary Islands and the Fisherman’s town.
The story happens when our grandfathers were little.
The conflict starts when Polynesia shows to Doctor Dolittle to talk with the animals. One day, arrives a card from Africa saying that some monkeys are sick, and Doctor Dolittle had to go to Africa. Since that day, he lives so much adventures.
I really liked the book because it’s funny and because it happens so much adventures. I liked all the parts.
It has got two table of contents: one of chapters and the other of the drawings. The Font size helped me, because it wasn’t too little and it wasn’t too big. It doesn’t have bibliography.
I would recommend this book to the people who likes animals, and I think that can be useful to the people who thinks that animals are less than people.
